Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award 2025 Goes to our CEO Evelyne Pflugi

CEO of The Singularity Group Honored for Pioneering Work in the Financial Industry

Zurich, September 19, 2025 – Evelyne Pflugi, CEO and co-founder of the Zurich-based investment boutique The Singularity Group (TSG), has received the 40th Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award Switzerland for her trailblazing entrepreneurial spirit in the still male-dominated and rather traditional financial sector. The award ceremony, organized by the champagne house Veuve Clicquot, took place on Thursday, September 18, in the ballroom of The Dolder Grand in Zurich. Numerous guests from business, culture, and media celebrated the courage, innovative power, and social commitment of female leaders. The evening was hosted by well-known presenter Sven Epiney.

“The Bold Woman Award means a great deal to me because it shines a light on an industry that—at first glance—is not very sexy, where few dare to innovate, and which is dominated by men,” commented Evelyne Pflugi on stage. “I am especially happy for the people who believed in us from the very beginning and invested in us on multiple levels. This especially includes my dedicated team.” In the audience, her two long-standing colleagues, Dita Bunjaku (Director, Shareholder Relations & Special Projects) and Katharina Boehringer (Chief Marketing Officer), eagerly crossed fingers for her in the audience.

Among the six finalists across two categories—the Bold Woman Award and the Bold Future Award—Pflugi stood out as the only representative from the financial industry. Pflugi’s mission: to make innovations that truly change our world measurable and investable through the stock market—for everyone.

“What differentiates us from banks are several factors,” Pflugi continued. “Banks today are anything but ‘bold.’ Especially in product design and selection, they usually play it safe for various reasons and are very limited. Our team invests in our own products. So we only offer our clients what we believe in ourselves and work hard for. I dare say not many banks can make that claim. Beyond that, we are an unconventional and modern team in the best sense—consisting mostly of women. Finally, our products deliver truly strong long-term performance.”

Other Bold Woman Award finalists: Isabel Bischof, co-founder and COO of cohaga AG, and Dr. Mara Catherine Harvey, founder of Marty’s Smart Way GmbH. Finalists in the Bold Future Award category: Dr. Leonie Bode, co-founder of Ayun AG, Dr. Selen Ercan Jenny, co-founder of LAYERED GmbH, and Margaux Peltier, CEO of Enerdrape, who took home the prize.

The History of the Bold Woman Award

The Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman Award was created in 1972 to mark the 200th anniversary of the Maison and has been established in Switzerland since 1985. It was the first international prize specifically dedicated to honoring women’s contributions to the business world. It commemorates Madame Clicquot, who, in the 19th century, was one of the first female entrepreneurs to lead the champagne house for more than six decades. Her qualities—courage, entrepreneurial daring, innovative spirit, social responsibility, and sustainable success—remain the criteria for the award to this day. In 2025, the Bold Woman Award celebrates its 40th anniversary in Switzerland.
